Cliffs of Moher

You might believe that the Zoo in Dublin is the most visited attraction in Ireland every year, but that is not correct. The Cliffs of Moher are visited by almost one million people a year, and the cliffs give you an amazing view towards the Atlantic Ocean. The Cliffs of Moher are at the most 214 metres above the sea, while at the lowest only 120 metres. Along the Cliffs you can also visit the O’Brien’s Tower which was built in the 19th century by Sir Cornelius O’Brien to impress the ladies in the area. We believe it was effective! From the viewpoint it is possible to see the Aran Islands, Maumturks and several other attractions in Ireland.

The Cliffs of Moher is located in the western part of Ireland, quite far away from Dublin, so unless you rent a car or join an organised tour, you might find it hard to get to this tour done in one day.
