The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival was formed in 2003. The JDIF became quickly one of the most popular events in Ireland. The international film festival takes place in the capital of Ireland in Dublin in every year, and in 2015 it will be arranged in March.
It is an eleven day long festival placed in the city. The James Dublin International Film Festival is dedicated to the international films from all over the world. Every year the film festival celebrates film and film making and the event offers more than 120 movies from the four corners of the globe. The film festival is one of the most visited and popular events in the life of Dublin and the event takes place in most of the city’s cinema in Dublin including Cineworld, The Savoy, Screen and so on. At the eleven long festival apart from the movies shown at the cinemas there will be plenty of other programs and activities as well. The event created a wide selection of programs which allows the visitors to interact with the filmmakers with public interviews, panel discussions and Q&A sessions. The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival presents The Volta Awards each year.
This year the film festival in Dublin will be held from March 19th till March 29th.
