We all know Simply Red and some of us know Mick Hucknall. Later this year he will come to Dublin to charm his fans with his soft, wide-ranging voice.
Mick Hucknall was born in 1960, Denton, England. His mother left her family, when the little Mick was only three years old, so he was brought up by his father. Hucknall met with his mother only three times in his lifetime.
In 1976 Mick and a few friends had a good time at a Sex Pistol concert in Manchester. After that they decided to start the musician career and they formed their band, the Frantic Elevators. They reached successes and a few years later they changed the band’s name to Simply Red after the singer’s red hair. They were together for 25 years and sold 50 million albums, and finally they broke up in 2010. After that the singer started a solo career, what’s first fruit is the American Soul from 2012. Fans could meet all of the songs, which effected Hucknall’s life from the beginnings.
And the red haired singer starts his European tour in the spring of 2013 to show his work to his fans. One of the lasts stops is the home of Guinness and green lands, Ireland. Don’t miss Mick Hucknall’s unforgettable concert in 10 April 2013 in the Dublin Olympia, Dublin! Have a good time!
