It is not exaggerating to say that everybody knows Beyoncé Giselle Knowles’ name. It’s not a miracle, because nowadays she is one of the most successful women in the world, and her popularity has reached the skies.

The singer was born in Houston, in Texas State. Her father, Mathew Knowles is musician manager, her mother, Tina Beyincé is fashion stylist and hairdresser. Her father is African-American, her mother is creole (African-American, Indian and French). Beyoncé’s first name is a changed version of her mother’s last name. She has one sister, Solange Knowles is singer, song writer and actress. Her musician career has started as a founder member of the Destiny’s Child. They were sighed up by the Columbia Records in 1997. In the same year they recorded their first song, the Killing Time, which was the main song of the movie, Men in Black. The band sold more than 60 million albums and EPs in the whole world. Beyoncé’s solo career has started in 2003, when the Destiny’s Child broke up, and she released her first album, the Dangerously in Love, which includes popular songs, like Crazy in Love or Baby Boy. The album got five Grammy Awards in 2004. In addition to her musician career, she played in several movies, like Pink Panther and the movie adaption of Dreamgirls.

She founded her own fashion brand, the House of Deréon. Besides these, she was the commercial face of the Pepsi, the Tommy Hilfiger and the L’Oréal.

In this year her concert tour, The Mrs. Carter Show has stops in the O2 Arena in Dublin, on 11 and 12 May 2013. Have a good time!

He was the bad guy in the high school, later he was going to be a blues God, the only musician, who was inducted three times in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the guitarist whose nickname is „slowhand”, but this is just good for him. Now, Eric Clapton is going to start a world wide concert tour, to show everybody, what is the real blues and the hard rock and roll.

Eric Clapton was born in The United Kingdom in 1945. When he was born, his mother was only 16 years old. His father has left them before his birth. He believed, his grandparents are his parents, and his mother is his sister. He found out the truth, when he was nine and his mother got married, moved to Canada and left her son. These things had very big influence to Eric’s whole life.

He was 13 when he has got his first guitar, and he thought himself to play on this, without teacher. The love of music, and especially, the blues has started this year. He played in the Yardbirds between 1963 and 1965, in the John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers between 1965 and 1966, and after that, he joined in the Cream in 1966, but the group has broken up in 1968. Eric Clapton played in lots of rock bands, and after that he has started his solo career in the early 1970s. He is one of the world’s best guitarist nowadays too.
